STRESS

Also known as hormone stress, is famous for causing hair to fall out and is not to be taken lightly. Stress can cause your immune system to disfunction and put you in the hospital. Stress can cause excessive daily hair loss or large chunks of hair loss. Nioxin can be very helpful in reducing hair loss from stress.

MEDICATIONS

The most common medications that are associated with hair loss are the ones associated with hormone therapies, birth control pills, blood pressure, diabetic, heart disease. Even acne medications can cause temporary or permanent hair loss. Steroids and specific chemotherapy's are common to hair loss as well. The follicle is super sensitive to these medications and Nioxin has the ability to gently detoxify these medications from the follicles, bring in oxygen, repair damage and nourish the roots. DIET

The follicle (the birth place of the hair), needs a daily supply of proteins and carbohydrates for the hair to fully develop. DEMODEX FOLLICULORUM

A microscopic mite (a living organism) has been associated with thinning hair and hair loss. Demodex is in the same family as mites, eyebrow mites, and hair mites. Demodex produces an enzyme called lipase in order to live off the sebum in the follicle. Lipase is what effects the quality, the appearance and the condition of the hair.
